Ayurvedic: In Ayurveda, ginger is seen as pungent and heating, balancing the Vata and Kapha doshas while potentially aggravating Pitta.
TCM Uses: Ginger is used to warm the middle jiao, dispel cold, alleviate nausea, and support digestion.

Dosage:
Aqueous Decoction: 1-2 teaspoons of fresh or dried ginger root per cup of water, simmered for 10-15 minutes. Drink up to three times a day.
